Hand-built inhouse, HMFG scissor lifts are specifically designed with extremely robust features, to withstand the rigors of underground mining. The scissor arms are heavy duty rectangular tubing with machined bushings and hardened 4140 pivot pins. These are connected to the 3.5” diameter welded lift cylinders with built-in load holding valves, for added operator safety. Hoffman scissor lifts utilize electric over hydraulic controls, with a foot switch and a hand held pendant located in the platform. The pivot locations within the scissor lifts are maintenance free with oilite bearings.
Customizable Options are available
We now offer ground level lift controls, for added safety. Our scissor lifts also feature a platform gate with a spring loaded latch, and platform tie-off points.
In addition to all of these safety features that come with every scissor lift purchased from Hoffman Manufacturing, you also have the option to add Heavy Duty stabilizer cylinders with load holding valves, for use on uneven surfaces.
