Personnel Doors
While our bi-fold and high pressure door systems provide equipment passage, personnel doors are a necessary safety feature for foot traffic. We offer both rotary and bi-fold personnel doors for frequent foot traffic and sliding doors for emergency situations. All are available as optional add-ons to either a bi-fold or a high pressure door system.
Rotary Doors:
Our rotary doors are designed to open with minimal effort, without the danger of air forces slamming them shut during use. It also features adjustable spring assist closures, which enable the door to close automatically when unattended.
HMFG’s rotary doors feature formed steel frames and panels with heavy duty end plates. We use sealed bearings and an adjustable spring assist closure. Key components are enclosed within the frame on both the top and the bottom of the doors. Heavy duty bulb style seals provide minimal air leakage. Their heavy duty construction ensures that they will offer smooth operation for years.

Sliding Doors:
Sliding doors are an optional feature in our bi-fold and high pressure door systems. These doors are designed to be an emergency only feature and are not recommended for regular foot traffic. They allow personnel to exit an area quickly without the need to engage the main doors. A sliding door is typically installed into the panel of the main bi-fold or high pressure door, and it opens and closes with minimal effort, even under high pressure conditions.
Each HFMG sliding door features heavy duty adjustable rollers with sealed ball bearings and bulb style seals for minimal air leakage. It is designed to provide secondary egress in the event of power failure to the main door system.
